来ました、ついに。WX310SA。
25日のIndian Nightの話とか、他にも書きたいことはあるんですけど、やっぱりこれが一番大きなトピックかな、ということで。
買いました、WX310SA。ウィルコムストアの対応に大変問題があり、25日に届かなかったばかりかその後も全く埒があかないので見限って26日に秋葉原のヨドバシで購入。
個人的な感想のまとめとしては、これは京ぽん並の名機になります。断言します。
京ぽん並と行かなくても、自分が京ぽんの前に使用していたソニー・エリクソンのau端末W21S並には、名機と呼ばれるようになるでしょう。PHS10年、AIR-EDGE4年の技術的な蓄積の上に三洋の家電メーカーとしてユーザーのことを第一に考えた設計が絶妙に融合しています。
・ユーザーインターフェースは現在の他キャリアの携帯並に使いやすくなっており、特に文字入力は、業界最凶と謳われるAdvanced Wnnを搭載しながら三洋の努力によって非常に優秀なものに仕上がっており、京ぽん時代に感じたストレスの1000分の1も感じずに入力をすることができます。
・Web上ではOperaに代わって搭載されているフルブラウザNetFrontへの酷評が目立っていますが、余程のヘビーユーザーでない限り気にならないのではないでしょうか。Smart-Fitモードの元のページの雰囲気を残したレンダリングも決して悪くないです。ただ、京ぽんのOperaが余りにも偉大だったので、gzip転送のように京ぽんでできたことが少しでもできなくなると不満に思う気持ちも分かります。とはいえNetFrontにはNetFrontの良さがあるということもそのうち理解されていくでしょう。
・WILLCOM機種の伝統を引き継ぎWeb上のBGMとして流れているものも含めたMIDIファイルをダウンロードし聴けたり着メロに設定できるのも良い点で(もっとも自分は万年マナーモードな人なので着メロとしてはほとんど意味はないのですが)、今回はそれがminiSDに直接保存可能ということでさっそくいくつか集めてみました。
・カメラに関しては、追従性が若干悪いのは残念な点ですが、実用上問題があるほどではありません。オートフラッシュが使えるほか、撮影方向を上方向が上(縦長)・右方向が上(横長)で切り替えができます。
・JAVA等も含め、まだ試してみていない機能もかなりあるので追記予定です。
また、今回引退することになった京ぽんは、遠からず弟が再利用することになるかもしれません。もちろんまだまだ活躍できるので自分としてはできるだけそうなって欲しいと願っていますが、まだ未定です。
今後どんな機種が出ても、京ぽんの偉業が色あせることはないでしょう。他キャリアでフルブラウザ機が出てきた現在でも、"携帯向け"サイトとPC向けサイトをシームレスに見ることができるのは、ほんの数日前まで京ぽんとそのマイナーチェンジ機を他においてなかったのですから。
OperaにはPCでまだまだお世話になります。この記事もPC版のOpera8.51で書いています。
P.S. アントラーズの強運(？)はいつまで続くのでしょうか。
それにしても…鹿島…昨日勝ってさえいれば、今頃既に首位で…柏に勝ちさえすれば優勝だったのに……
3日の対柏戦は観に行く予定なのですが、他の試合の結果に優勝が左右されるのはなかなか気持ちの良いものではないですからねぇ。

なおや君卒業以来だなぁ....。
midiをそのまま再生できるとはイイネ。
以前、着信メロディにしようとして、midiファイルをツールを使って変換したのだけど、なんだかファミコンの音源が音割れしたような感じになってしまったんだよね。
私のA5403CAがヘヴォな性もあるけどｗ....。
今思えば私のA5403CAってＪ卒業記念なシロモノでもあるんだよね。 パケ代定額のWINとかに替えたいような気もしないでもないが、普段、Ezwebは電車の時間調べる事ぐらいにしか使わんし、自分からはメールほとんどしないし、通話も帰り土浦に着いた時に、ハッチポッチに迎えにくるように電話するくらいだ(5秒くらいの会話)....。
なので、イカれるまで多分替えないだろうな.....。
自分の部屋のPCがそろそろ限界な気がしてきた今日この頃ｗ
買ったのが中学2年の時だから、もうﾑﾘﾎﾟΣ(ﾟДﾟ)！
DVDドライブは動かなくなるわ、マウスは利き悪いわ、
Windows2000を入れてるけど頻繁にフリーズするし...。
今使ってる、家族共用(ほぼ私の占有)も高校2年の時のものだから、替え時と言えばそうなんだろうな....。

カシオの機種は非常に満足度が高かったね。自分も2002年夏～2004年までA3012CAを使っていたけど、ATOK搭載で当時の機種としては変換もかなり良かったし。ミリア・フォルセティさんがA5403CAを使い続けているのも分かる気がする。問題があったのはJAVAの実行速度くらいで、バッテリーが逝ってしまわなければまだ今でも現役で活躍できていただろう。だから、DoCoMoが同じ機種で3年経つとバッテリーをプレゼントしてくれるのはちょっと面白いと思う(もちろんDoCoMoとしては機種変をされるとバッテリー代の何倍もの金を販売店に払わなきゃならない、という裏があるわけだけど)。ただしバッテリーが3年も持つかは別として。
WX310SAは今のところ3日くらい充電しなくても使えるので満足しています。
